Celebrating 10 years of India’s multi-faceted culture in Hong Kong
India by the Bay, Hong Kong’s only annual week-long celebration of India’s artistic, literary and cultural heritage, completes ten glorious years in 2025, reaffirming its position as a cultural bridge between two distinctive national identities – India and Hong Kong. For the past dramatic decade, India by the Bay has forged enduring ties through the collaborative power unique to the arts. It has built heart-warming connections through strands that evoke the deepest of emotion - dialogue, performance, food, well-being, and family. Through a dynamic array of conversations, performances that blend artistic traditions, exceptional cuisines, textile and craft, the festival highlights how intersecting traditions can deepen our understanding of one another.
Each year, the festival brings the soul of India and its unique diversity to the city’s shores, with a carefully curated programme, featuring music, dance, theatre, cinema, literature, craft, cuisine, interactive workshops and more, drawing in both diaspora and the people of Hong Kong, and fostering collaborations. The festival is co-presented by Teamwork Arts and the Asia Society Hong Kong Center. Its tenth milestone year promises a galaxy of stalwarts and a power-packed, dazzling chronicle of events, scheduled to be held from November 6 -12, 2025.
